In the hand
The hand judges before the eye.
Pick up a bank card and a hotel key card with your eyes closed and you can tell them apart instantly. Neither one told you anything; the mass did.
We tuned the card to sit at the heavier end of what a wallet accepts. Heavy enough to feel deliberate, thin enough to disappear next to the cards you already carry.
Balance matters as much as mass. An evenly weighted card lies flat, taps flat, and does not rock against a phone back.
Decisions
What we tuned for.
- Mass
- Toward the top of what feels comfortable in a wallet.
- Balance
- Even across the face, so it lies and taps flat.
- Thickness
- Wallet-standard; it stacks with the rest of your cards.
- Flex
- Enough to survive a back pocket, not enough to feel cheap.
- Sound
- A low, dull note on a table. Nothing tinny.
Weight is the first
thing you trust.
