Stories

Opened once, then irrelevant.

The brief

No unboxing theatre.

Packaging that performs is packaging that wants to be filmed. We would rather it protected three cards and got out of the way.

It also should not describe what is inside on the outside. A plain box on a hall table tells a passer-by nothing.

What it does carry is the short set of first instructions, in plain words, on one surface, including the sentence people most need to read twice: nobody can recover your password.

What it does

Four jobs, then done.

  1. I

    Protect

Three cards arrive flat and unmarked.

  2. II

    Say little outside

Nothing on the box announces what it holds.

  3. III

    Explain once

First steps, in plain language, on one panel.

  4. IV

    Be discardable

Nothing you need to keep. The cards are the product.

The object matters.
The box does not.
