One line of rose gold.

The decision

A card needs one gesture.

A completely unmarked black rectangle is not restraint, it is refusal. In a wallet it disappears into every other black card, and in the hand it feels unfinished.

So there is one line, warm against the black, running where your thumb naturally rests. It gives the card an orientation, you learn which way up it goes without looking, and it gives the object a maker without giving it a label.

It also tells you nothing. A stranger sees a nicely made black card with a metallic line. No name, no logo, no purpose.

Why this line

What it is doing.

  1. I

    Orientation

It marks the top edge so the card goes to the phone the same way every time.

  2. II

    Warmth

Rose gold against black reads as material, not as branding. Chrome would read as tech.

  3. III

    Restraint

One accent is a decision. Two is decoration.

  4. IV

    Anonymity

It identifies nothing, not you, not the contents, not the product.

One line,
no explanation.
