Why
Ownership,
not access.
Some information is too important to depend on an account. MI8OS gives you a copy you can actually hold and keep for yourself.
Your most important secrets deserve a place you control.
- 01
Encrypted on your phone
Your phone encrypts the vault before writing it to a card. The card only receives encrypted data.
- 02
Stored offline
The encrypted vault lives on your card. You do not need an account or a server to keep it there.
- 03
Physically yours
Opening a vault takes the card in your hand and the password only you know. You stay in control of both.
The problem
Access is not the same as ownership.
Most digital tools give you access through an account. That works until the account is locked, the subscription ends or the service is no longer available.
Online services are convenient, but they are still services you depend on. Losing access can also mean losing the information you trusted them to protect.
MI8OS is made for the small set of secrets you cannot afford to lose, such as recovery phrases, master passwords and safe codes. These are things worth keeping in your own hands.
What changes
A vault that behaves like an object.
- 01
It can be handed over
Leave a card with a family member or lawyer. It stays unreadable without your password, but it is there when you need it.
- 02
It can be put away
A card can sit quietly in a drawer or safe. It does not need to stay online, sync or install updates.
- 03
It can be duplicated deliberately
The set gives you three copies of the same vault. You choose where each one lives.
- 04
It can be rewritten
Cards are reusable. Make your changes on the phone, then tap a card to replace its old copy.
Some things are worth
a little inconvenience.
MI8OS is for the few secrets that would hurt to lose and that you would rather keep for yourself.
Keep your secrets
where you can hold them.
